So many great non profits in BC and so much creative talent!
The team at Cineworks got it right when they put those two things together and created Play it Forward - matching good causes and filmmakers to create powerful campaigns that help spread the word.
This weekend, BC youth in and from care were the winners with a powerful short video produced by Jennifer Lee at High Vibe Productions. WInner of the Viewers Choice Award, the video features BC young people and the Federation of BC Youth in Care Networks - a youth-driven non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of young people in and from government care between the ages of 14 and 24.
We are proud to be involved with the Fed and congratulate everyone who contributed to the video. We also want to send an extra warm congratulations to the young people who continue to share their incredible talent on and off the screen!
